What is Group Accident Insurance?

• Group Accident Insurance is voluntary accident insurance intended for legal entities and individuals. A group is a community of three or more persons formed in advance for non-insurance purposes;
• Insurance contracts may be concluded at the expense of the employer or at the expense of the insured persons.
• The subject of the insurance is the life, health, and physical integrity of the insured person in the event of an insured event resulting from an accident.

Insurance coverage:

The insurance includes basic coverage, which can be combined with extended coverage and additional coverage. The sum insured under the additional coverage may be equal to or less than that of the basic coverage.

Basic coverage:

• temporary loss of working capacity of the insured person as a result of an accident;
• permanent loss of working capacity as a result of an accident;
• death as a result of an accident.

Are there any coverage restrictions?:

• Compensation for disability and temporary loss of working capacity as a result of an occupational disease is paid once during the insurance year;
• insurance sums and benefits are paid up to the amount of the insurance sum under the coverage or up to the limit specified in the insurance policy;
• The insurer is not liable for events occurring to persons over the age of 69, unless an additional premium has been paid for this;
• Persons with a loss of working capacity of more than 50% and mentally ill persons are not insured and no compensation is paid for them;
• the insurer's liability under the insurance contract does not include the death of persons under 14 years of age or incapacitated persons.

Territorial coverage:

• On the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

How to pay?

• The insurance premium is paid in a lump sum or in installments, in the manner and amount agreed in the insurance contract.
• You can pay the insurance premium at the offices of JSIC "OZK - Insurance" throughout the country, by bank transfer, or through your insurance broker.
