What is "Personal Accident of Passengers' Seats in Motor Vehicles" insurance?

• Voluntary insurance intended for legal entities and individuals.
• It insures individuals who are drivers of vehicles and passengers in them.
• The insurance covers the life, health, and physical integrity of passengers in motor vehicles while they are in the motor vehicle, including when getting in or out of it.
• The insurance coverage covers all seats in the vehicle listed in the registration certificate, including the driver's seat, unless otherwise agreed.
• The insurer shall pay the agreed compensation in cases where, as a result of an accident covered by the contract, the insured person has died or suffered reduced working capacity.

Insurance coverage:

• death as a result of an accident;
• disability as a result of an accident;
• temporary incapacity to work due to an accident lasting more than 20 days;
• medical expenses due to an accident;
• repatriation and funeral expenses due to an accident during the term of the contract, up to a certain limit.

Are there any restrictions on coverage?

• Insurance amounts and compensation are paid up to the amount of the insurance sum under the coverage or up to the limit specified in the insurance policy.
• The insurance sum is the same for all registered locations in the motor vehicle and for each individual event.
• Insurance of only some of the seats is not permitted.

Territorial coverage:

• The territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

Term of coverage:

• Coverage begins on the date and at the time specified as the start date in your policy. Insurance coverage ends on the date and at the time specified as the end date in the policy.
• In case of non-payment or partial payment of an installment by the due date specified in the policy, the coverage under the policy shall terminate at 24:00 hours on the 15th day from the due date or on another date expressly specified in the policy.

How do I pay?

• The insurance premium is paid in a lump sum or in installments, in the manner and amount agreed in the insurance contract.
• You can pay the insurance premium at the offices of JSIC "OZK - Insurance" throughout the country, by bank transfer, or through your insurance broker.
• For policies issued on deferred payment, you can pay the next installment due online, by debit or credit card, at www.online.ozk.bg/vnoska.
